From the observation of the bow kite, the kite of kitesurfing, which curves in the wind to gain altitude, the Bowie chair was born. Two concave shells that accommodate and embrace the body create a comfortable shape that favours a wide variety of seating positions. The basic idea for the Bowie is to derive as much comfort as possible from the seat and backrest elements, made of curved ash plywood from the same mould, in wood or upholstered panel.
