Chris Connell
Chris Connell is an award-winning Australian
designer and founder MAP International in Melbourne. Born in 1955, he has
over 40 years’ experience within the architecture, interior design and
furniture industries. He strives for simplicity through attention to detail
and honest use of materials. His furniture appears in the permanent
collection of the Museum of Modern Art New York, Powerhouse Museum Sydney
and National Gallery of Victoria. In 2014 Chris was honoured with the
Australian Interior Design Excellence Awards Gold Medal and the following
year awarded Designer of the Year at the inaugural DEN Furniture Fair.
